I think of faith as paranoia in reverse.
The faithful believe the universe is out to do them good.
Everything that happens reflects perfect love, or it’s the perfect remedy to distorted projections.
And everyone is an angel in disguise.
To the faithful, the whole world is enlightened, and they were the last to know.
We outgrew the magic of childhood and entered the desert of materialism, sometimes called ordinary mind.
Ordinary mind is characterized by the belief that our lives are accidental and limited.
Faith represents a return to the heart.
The faithful are at the center of a benevolent universe that is only trying to help.
And from the perspective of “others,” the faithful do everything to help them!
