You See What You Believe

January 11, 2018

I was 37 when I realized I'd never found a four-leaf clover. I was talking with someone who finds them all the time, in his own backyard and everyone else's. "I've never found one," I told him.

"It's because you're not looking," he said. "Most people just kind of glance around and assume they won't find any. I studied botany in college and I happen to know that four-leaf clovers are a common variation. It's a myth that they're rare. I find them all the time because I know they're there."

The world is our mirror, and we see life's beauty when we know it's there. We encounter painful and problematic circumstances over and over again when we deeply believe in these kinds of things. Sometimes, it seems impossible to imagine anything else.

Try. Steep yourself in visions of love, light and harmony. Allow love and light to transform your heart. The whole world is waiting for you to call it out.
